a few shots from another project

ive been suffering a severe case of animation inspiration deprivation over the last few days, so instead of working, i decided to post a few stills of a little project that i had been tinkering with a few weeks back.

if anyone has any weird and wonderful ways that they crawl out of an artistic rut, id love to hear em. my inspiration seems to have gone on vacation and ive spent the majority of the last week just staring at the monitor and scratching my head...

I love this "Tinker" project. I check out your blog for inspiration;) and I also buy a crap load of books and old cheesy television shows that involve space midgets and 10 minute car chases with voice overs for the "acting".

well at least I got some inspiration from looking at these.
You should try maybe taking a walk, listening to old radio plays, trying to fix some furniture. geting your mind off inspiration or animation is when things usually fall into place.

No idea. I haven't touched a pencil in months. I have a book that suggests "go for a walk" and also "schedule in creative time and devote a few hours to it every day, whether you want to or not". I'm not in the mood to try it.

mirco,
i like what your sayin here, speaking of ol radio shows, have you ever listen to x-minus-one?
you can find podcasts of them on i-tunes. super highly recommended if your a fan of science fiction before it was all about remakes of video games. some really neat stuff if you listen through a few of them.

thanks for the suggestions.
i think the going for a walk idea is probably universally a good one. although im in vancouver right now so going for a walk means coming back with a shoe full of water and a soaking wet sock inside.
still, its possible i just need more outside time to get a fresh head...
and thanks for the compliments.
much appreciated
