some monsterous stills

a few stills from my addition to the 10 second monsters project that t.a.i.s. is doing...

this thing needs some spice...

i was talking briefly with jamie this morning about why blogs are the uncool these days, and im thinking its probably from not enough regularity to attract people back...( lots of blogs, not lots of updates).
given i cant always be posting things up here consistently because since im an animator, and one project usually takes a few weeks or months to complete, im at a little bit of a loss...i've been posting now since 2004, so its fair to think that it might be time to change things up.
if anyone has any ideas out there to make this thing a little more fun, let me know...
ima go to the track now and bet on horses...
if i come home rich...maybe ill start posting in gold.

ummm ewwww

alright, i know this sorta goes against the purpose of this blog, but i did this bg today that is the most disgusting thing ever, so i thought id share.
i had an itch to try to use textures, even though they have never seemed to work before. the end result is a solid waste of a few hours and a complete lack of anything remotely appealing. not to mention just an overall mushy looking piece of i dunno what even without that ugly woodgrain.
oh well, lesson learned...

something new

heres some stills from a new project that ive been dabbling with. this is actually two shots from the same scene if your wondering why the dude has the same pose in both...

the kidman and lemon show

heres a project that i had a mild hand in helping out with (mainly cleaning drawings and bothering people while they were trying to work).
the majority of the work was made by some really creative people and i think the end result is a pretty good testament to the talent that put it together.

enjoy!
